Sherman’s Gallifreyan is for transliteration - that is, there’s no grammar, no vocabulary. It’s basically a Gallifreyan code for writing English.

Collective Gallifreyan has different grammar than English. It has sounds that English doesn’t have, and English has sounds that Gallifreyan doesn’t have. CG has its own vocabulary and its own idioms.

The difference comes down to this: You cannot translate anything into Sherman’s Gallifreyan; you can only transliterate.

That depends on a lot of things, like your natural skill for languages, your own native language, and how much time you put into it. The hardest part, I think, is that we haven’t finished the grammar (and will likely never be finished with vocabulary).

However, if you put in a bit of practice very frequently, you’ll get the hang of it pretty soon.
